The music of Leonard Bernstein comes to life during the
2007-2008 season of the Mighty Falcon Marching Band.  The
original Broadway production opened at the Winter Garden
Theatre in New York City on September 26, 1957 to rave reviews.
The production ran for 732 performances before going on tour.

Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990) was perhaps the most influential
figure in classical music in the last half of the twentieth century.
His own work as a composer, particularly his scores for such
Broadway musicals as West Side Story and On the Town, helped
forge a new relationship between classical and popular music.
